The Role of Local Society in Achieving the Goals of Sustainable Tourism Development in Egypt Vision 2030

Abstract

Egypt's Vision 2030 reflects the country's strategic plan to achieve the principles and goals of sustainable development in all fields.
Egypt's Vision 2030 is based on the principles of "comprehensive sustainable development", and reflects the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic dimension, the social dimension, and the environmental dimension.
on the other hand, many studies have monitored the increasing role of local community in the tourism development, Where the local community is the most important partner in the development activities. So the study aims to demonstrating how can the local community can effect on achieving the goals of tourism sustainability development, so a statistical model was designed to measure the effect of five independent factors on one dependent factor. The Quantitative Approach was used in the study, 600 questionnaires were distributed by the use of and social media and personal interview, to collect primary data from the study sample,
The study concluded with a set of guidelines that can help for the success the local community role to maximize its ability to achieving the goals of tourism sustainability development.
