The repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis for the Egyptian tourism sector
(Appling to Class A tourism companies)
Abstract:
The aim of this research is to study the reality of the Egyptian tourism sector being affected by the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis by applying it to the Egyptian tourism companies category (A) in Sharm El-Sheikh, and to develop a set of proposals to address the repercussions of this crisis and get out of it with the least possible losses. Where the mixed research method was used, which is based on collecting and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data in one study, and the data was collected based on the sources of the theoretical study where the descriptive analytical approach was used, through which the phenomenon represented by the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on the tourism sector is described. The Egyptian in general and the Egyptian tourism companies category (A), in addition to collecting data based on the field study, by distributing questionnaire forms to a number of (66) employees of the Egyptian tourism companies category (A) in Sharm El Sheikh,.
One of the most important findings of the research was the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on many tourism companies, especially tourism companies that deal with the Russian market or the Ukrainian market by more than 75%. As for the most important recommendations, the research found the need to develop a clear strategic plan for tourism crisis management
